Joel Katzav is an associate professor at the University of Queensland. His research is mainly in the philosophy of science, the history of twentieth-century philosophy and metaphysics. He is the author of many papers, including ‘Pluralism and peer review in philosophy’ (with Krist Vaesen), ‘Analytic philosophy, 125-1969: emergence, management and nature’, ‘Grace de Laguna’s analytic and speculative philosophy’ and ‘Issues in the theoretical foundations of climate science’. He edited (with Wendy S. Parker) ‘Assessing climate models: knowledge, values and policy’, a special edition of the European Journal for the Philosophy of Science. Dorothy Rogers is a professor at Montclair State University in the U.S.  Her primary research is on women in the history of American philosophy, women’s/feminist social and political thought in the nineteenth century.  She has published articles about women philosophers in Hypatia and is the author or editor of books on women philosophers in the U.S., including Marietta Kies and Catharine Beecher. Her books, Women Philosophers: Education and Activism in Nineteenth-Century America and Women Philosophers: Entering Academia (1880–1920) were published with Bloomsbury in 2020Krist Vaesen is an associate professor at Eindhoven University of Technology, the Netherlands. His principal research interests are the philosophy of science, the history of twentieth-century philosophy, and epistemology. He has, together with Joel Katzav, written on the history of analytic philosophy and of American philosophy of science. His work on evolutionary anthropology has been published in various prominent scientific and philosophy journals, including the Proceedings of the National Academy of Science, Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society and Biology & Philosophy.
