His research field are labor economics, time use economics and urban economics.Xiaoyuan Dong, professor of the Faculty of Business and Economics of the University of Winnipeg, associate editor-in-chief of Feminist Economics, member of International Association for Feminist Economics. Her research areas are China's economic transformation, labor market, gender and women's status. Her articles have been published in many international core academic journals, including Journal of Political Economy, Journal of Development Economics, Journal of Comparative Economics, Economics of Transition, Feminist Economics and so on. Her current research areas are unpaid care, time use, social gender, etc.
